TANGO JAM SESSION

The Tango Jam Session led by Homer is part of a weekend of tango workshops, dances and concerts co-sponsored by the campus RSO "Tango Tango".

We are inviting all musicians who are interested in playing tango music to join us for part or all of the jam session. Whatever instrument you play, and whatever your level of musicianship, please consider coming.

One purpose of the jam session is simply to bring together local musicians who are interested in playing tangos. We hope it will be the start of future jams and performances.

We will have one piano. Pianists can take turns, and/or play four-handed or more.

Note: There is no charge for attending the jam session and practilonga.

Schedule

6:00p to 8:00p - Jam Session Practice
Musicians and singers rehearse tango pieces you've received ahead of time.

8:00p to 10:00p - Practilonga
A tango dance practice with music provided by the jammers, alternating sets with a DJ.
