TANGO LESSONS WITH JOE & CARLOTA

Three new group classes with Joe and Carlota will start in SEPTEMBER at Channing-Murray Foundation.

We'll also have a Thursday night practica. See details below.

TANGO QUICK START (Tango I)

Learn the basics of tango in five weeks!

Date & Time: Mondays at 9:00 pm, starting September 13, 2010.
Enrollment open through second class (September 20). Repeaters can join at any time.

Level: For first-time beginners.

This class is also recommended for people who want a refresher in beginning tango fundamentals. It's a quick moving, interesting class.

Fees: $35 for five weeks / $25 for students / $10 for repeaters / $0 if enrolled in Tango II or Tango III

Tango Intermediate (Tango II)

For dancers who have taken one or more of our Quick Start classes. In this class we will teach several rhythmical movement sequences that look great on the dance floor.

Time: Thursdays at 7:30 pm,

Dates: September 9 - Oct 21 (no class on 9/23)

Level: For advanced beginners. Pre-requisite - some introduction to tango, such as Quick Start.

Fees: $40 for six weeks / $25 for students / Drop-in $10 / $0 if in Tango III

Special Topics (Tango III)

This night is an intermediate/advanced topics workshop. We will focus on one topic each night.

The class is followed by a practica open to all levels.

Planned topics: magic moves in milonga, how to turn on a dime, colgadas, the dead-men's salida, plus I'm taking suggestions.

Time: Thursdays at 8:30 pm

Dates: September 9 - Oct 21 (no class on 9/23)

Level: Intermediate and Advanced. No partner required.

Practica - All Levels

Day & Time: Thursdays 9:30 - 10:30

Admission: Free to enrollees of any Joe & Carlota class. Drop ins: $5
